Old Bengal Live – The Raz Trio

This February we are introducing Old Bengal Live, with the perfect combination of cocktails, bar snacks and uplifting live music that we love!

On Thursday 23rd February, join us to dance the night away to The Raz Trio from 6 – 9pm. In 2016 Eric Ranzoni picked up Best Blues Instrumentalist Award, presented by Mr Jools Holland at the Boisdale Live Music Awards. Anglo-Italian pianist and singer Eric Ranzoni, also known as “The Rockin’ Roman”, is a full-time musician. Born in the swinging London of 1969 he spent the majority of his life between Rome and Milan.

Eric has gained a reputation as an outstanding Blues & Rock and Roll pianist, but versatile in other styles too, with a distinctive singing style and a knack to entertain a crowd. Since 2009 Eric Ranzoni’s also been the European pianist for Chicago singer Mud Morganfield, the eldest son of Blues legend Muddy Waters. With Mud Eric has appeared on TV show ‘Later with Jools Holland’ on the BBC and played most of the major Blues/Jazz festivals in Europe, opening or sharing the bill with artists such as Sting, John Mayall, Herbie Hancock, Santana, Robert Cray, Jack Bruce, Robert Plant, Van Morrison.
