Join us on Friday 29th July for a night of blues with Dan Nash, a guitarist and vocalist specializing in authentic acoustic Delta, Texas and Ragtime Blues. His main focus has always been on live work and his material consists of both rare and standard blues classics by Delta and Texas bluesmen such as Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, T-Bone Walker and Lightnin’ Hopkins as well as country fingerpickers such as Blind Blake, Mississippi John Hurt and Big Bill Broonzy.

Most recently Dan has performed extensively in the USA with some respected current blues players and more frequently as a solo act. He gravitated towards the deep South in early 2008 whilst making a documentary on the history of blues and has since spent 16 weeks playing around the Mississippi Delta. Old Bengal Bar welcomes Dan Nash on guitar and vocals, alongside harmonica player, Marco Farris.
